Queen’s houses

A profile of each Queen’s house is available to view using the tabs on the left hand side of the screen.  The houses available are:

·        Guthrie House

·        11-19 and 26-50 Mount Charles

·        Grant House

·        76 Malone Road

·        7-12 College Gardens

The following is included in the price for all Queen’s houses:

·        Heating, electricity and hot water

         Heating and hot water are at set times:

Monday–Friday 7.00–9.00am & 5.00–10.00pm
(3.30–10pm in Dec–Feb)

Saturday/Sunday 9.00–11.00am & 5.00–10.00pm
(3.30–10pm in Dec–Feb)

·        Internet access via the Queen’s network*

·        Weekly cleaning of communal areas during
core teaching periods

·        24/7 on call security

·        Cooker/microwave oven/kettle/toaster

·        Television provided in common rooms
(covered by Queen’s TV licence)

·        Prompt repairs and maintenance service

·        A pay phone in each house

·        Laundry facilities**

·        Support through Community Youth Work team and Residential Assistants.

* Excluding College Gardens and 76 Malone Road for 2010-11. Internet is provided though the Queen’s network which is primarily for education use and gaming ports are generally not available; check the Queen’s website for ‘student computing’.
