No accommodation worries

Please read the Allocation Policy on the menu on the left hand side of the screen; you may be in a student group for which we offer a guarantee of accommodation. In all cases, applications from Queen’s students will be processed before students attending another university or institution.

Choice

All of our accommodation is designed to provide students with a place to live which offers a balanced environment for study and having fun. Halls of residence is a semi-independent style of living which is reflective of the transition from home to university life and therefore we have some rules and regulations on how you should behave. However we know that some students have more specific requirements and therefore for 2010–11, we have introduced three new lifestyle options for accommodation. These are detailed under ‘Choices’.

Privacy

Your room is your private space, to look after and enjoy.

Active social life

There is a lot happening in our accommodation to help you enjoy your student experience. The Community Youth Workers and Residential Assistants will help you settle in and organise events and opportunities to help you make new friends.

You’re in good company

We successfully place over 2000 students in University accommodation each year, so there will be plenty of new friends to be made.

You’re not alone

Our Student Accommodation team and the Community Youth Work team can support you and find help from experts within the University‘s Student Guidance Centre, whatever the problem.
